Featured Project: ARMY Fisher House I
The Fisher House program is a unique private-public partnership that supports America's military families. We had the honor of constructing/rennovating Hawaii's Fisher House I.
Project Scope
- Demo and remove items that will not be reused
- Prepare all surfaces and install new finishes in accordance with manufacturer's instructions
- Patch/repair walls and doors (replace brass kickplate)
- Patch/repair doors and wood trim
- Paint walls, doors, wood trim, and ceilings throughout
- Replace/clean hardware as needed
- Replace all switch and outlet covers with white faceplates
- Replace A/C grills and vents as needed
- Install Wall-hung items, including headboards, wall lighting fixtures (not direct-wire), mirrors, and artwork in locations per CSFC interior designer
- Repair wall covering
- Demo/remove exisiting ceramic tile throughout. Where ceramic meets other floor finishes, install Schluter Sytems edge protection in stainless steel finish. Epoxy grout will be used in installation in all ceramic tiles.
- Remove existing pendant lighting fixure and replace with new fixture
- Remove existing surface mounted lighting fixtures (5) and replace with new fixtures
- Refinish existing wood floor in color to match existing
- Reframe portrait of Mr. and Mrs. Fisher
- Reface existing cabinets and install new cabinet doors, panels, and trim to match quality look and feel of existing Fisher House II cabinets (this is in order to use the existing granite countertops with no risk of damage)
- Install new lighting fixure under cabinet above the kitchen sink
- Install new double sink and faucette (ADA Compliant)
- Install new miniblinds at door and window.
- Install new microwave, double oven, dishwasher, and stovetop in stainless steel finish (note: a new refridgerator/freezer with stainless steel finish will be installed prior to rennovation)
- Remove existing ceramic tile above countertops and install ceramic tile in same locations
- Install new corion countertop
- Install new corion lavatory top with integral sink and new faucette (ADA Compliant)
- Intall new toilet paper holder (combination brass and chrome paper)
